FAQ
Can we bid on tenders in other countries?
Yes. Tenders above the EU thresholds must treat suppliers from every EU and EEA country equally (Directive 2014/24/EU; Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein through the EEA Agreement). Current thresholds: €140,000 for central government supplies and services, €216,000 for regional and local buyers, €5,404,000 for works (Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/2152). Many winners bid with a local partner; we flag the bid language and deadline so you can decide early.
Which languages do you cover?
All 24 languages used on TED. Every tender gets an English summary and the original title; Machine translation of titles and briefs on Cross-border and Pro is paused while we fix quality: you see the original title with its language. Always read the original notice.
On Cross-border and Pro. It reads the requirements in the TED notice (turnover, certificates, references, languages, deadlines, lots), compares them with your company facts and shows a qualification card with the source of each point and a High, Medium or Low relevance band. The checks are rules-based; AI-written text is in testing and stays off until it passes our accuracy checks. AI Bid Assistant helps you assess and prepare bids. It doesn't replace reading the tender documents or legal advice. Always check against the official notice.
What do I get when I sign up today?
You pick a plan when you sign up, but nothing is charged then. After you confirm your email, you get a one-off sample digest with open tenders that match your choices. To start your plan, choose it in your dashboard: 14 days free, then the first monthly payment is taken by card on day 15 unless you cancel. Your daily digest starts with your trial. Emails start after you choose a plan.
How do VAT and cancelling work?
Prices are in euros, ex VAT, for businesses only. EU and Norwegian businesses normally account for VAT by reverse charge. Paid plans are month to month: cancel before your next billing date and you won't be charged again. Every digest has a one-click unsubscribe link.
